Ok so I broke completely. I was not going to get Vista until next year when it is a little more stable. However with the cost of Vista being:

I happened to walk in to the compusa in south center that is closing its doors.
It had operating systems marked 30% off. I bought the Ultimate Upgrade regularyl $259.99 for $181.99. The price was reasonable at 181.99. I loaded it on my laptop fairly easily, upgraded drivers to vista, no problems. ...only concern.....is Guild Wars going to play on it? So I connected to my lan line at home, and launched guild wars ....... and it launched! i was able to log in and play

ugh
someone just shoot me now now i hate this job......... because i was on the phone with someone else and someone in the company heard the words "Update Rimage" thought we were going to update ours........ when the words I said "Update your image"
so now i get yelled at for it when i was not talking to an employee here nor was i talking about work stuff
