Power Outages

Here in Bellevue Washington where I work for the past hour the power has been going off and on, now about 5 times so far. We are all praying that it goes off and stays off and eventually takes the power from the server that has control of the phone system

Poseidon Graduated Training Class!!

The picture to the left is Poseidon (the one with the Purple leash) with his older brother Zeus. This was Zeus's first time on a leash for a while he is not leash trained at all and whines when no one is around. Zeus is older than Poseidon by 30 minutes. As you can tell Poseidon is still smaller than his older brother, being the runt of the litter. He may be the runt but he is full of energy, a smart and quick learner, and is very well loved.


The picture to the left here was taken on Sunday at Poseidon's graduation from Puppy Training at Petsmart. He did very well and even went first for the tests. Good job Poseidon, my baby.

Got so much homework.....got so much to do to plan for the wedding....when will it stop???

Poseidon

Puppy

Here's a picture of the puppy that Daryl and I are getting. We should be able to pick him up this weekend or on the first of August. Daryl and I have named the puppy Poseidon, the god of the sea.

Why Poseidon? Daryl and I are both water signs. Plus Daryl and I both love the water.

Sometimes I hate callers! If you have to call tech support for some reason don't be rude. All they are trying to do is help you fix your problem. If they are asking you for a product code, make sure you can locate it and give it to them, more than likely they are trying to register the product so that they can provide support to you!

Ok, now that I can quit ranting and raving, let's move on.

How are the wedding plans coming?
Well, I have already purchased my veil, and tiara. Purchased something else but I can't say because I don't want word getting back to my fiance!

Matron of Honor is selected, my bridesmaids are selected (with the exception of one that I still have to ask....)

D and I are going this weekend to view 3 locations that are quite possible to have the wedding and reception at.

We have decided what our colors will be for the wedding, Seafoam Green and a shade of blue (haven't settled on what shade of blue just yet.)

Moving.....

As of the beginning of September, end of August, I will be moving back into my fiance's house. It will mean sacrifices on both of our parts for awhile. It will help get bills paid off, so that we can save up for purchasing a home that we both like that is in his call area, or using the money for our wedding, or both.

Am I crazy????

Ok I gotta be crazy if I'm going to do this. Do what you ask? As most of you know I got engaged to be married on April 2nd. I start my new job on May 8th. I graduate with my associates degree in September. So you ask, what makes you think you are crazy? Well, not only will I be planning my wedding that will happen in two years time, but at the same time will be working on my bachelors degree as well. So when will I be graduating with my bachelor's degree? Well, I'll be graduating with my bachelors degree, right after my wedding! (well a couple weeks after but shortly after)....so yes I'll have to put off my honeymoon for a couple of weeks but the fiance and I are ok with that.

So why am I going straight back to school to get my bachelors? Well, I can get my bachelors with friends in my classes, gives me more motivation if I just continue straight thru, and I won't have to hem and haw about when I want to go back to school.

Apparently I have the full support of my fiances family to go on to get my bachelors.

The...... Proposal

On Sunday April 2, 2006 at 1:30 am my boyfriend Daryl proposed to me at Alki Beach. I said yes to his proposal and was instantly crying. Alki Beach is one of the first places that we had gone to when we first started dating each other. It came out throughout the day that he was originally going to propose to me when we were up in Victoria B.C. but the one place that was appropriate for the proposal he didn't have the ring yet. He was going to propose at the Italian restaurant that we visited, but didn't due to the loud atmosphere.

Welcome to Spring

Today is officially the first day of Spring. I'm happy that Spring is here as it will start to warm up. But it means so much more for me. It means I'm one quarter closer to graduating with my associates degree in Computer Network Systems. It means its time to do some spring cleaning around my home and get rid of stuff that I no longer use, finish building a computer so I can get it out of my living room and over to my mother-in-laws.
