Sorry
Things have been a bit busy for me lately. Not only with work, but with school, and the holidays.
Was trying to do something nice for my mom for Christmas and all it's given me is a pain in the neck. Go figure. At least I finally got her new computer that I built from scratch built. The only thing I have left to do is install drivers for the modem, the rest she can install on her own.
Am happy for my 'bro' as he recently proposed to his girl.. Congrats you two.
I graduate in September,,....thank GOD!

Exciting....
Well, school starts tomorrow for me at ITT Tech. I'm excited about it. It is definately going to keep me on my toes. I also go on vacation this coming Saturday, going to go visit my grandfather in Oklahoma. It is hard to believe its been 2 years since I was last out there. Seems shorter than that.
Lyndsay may be coming to live with me after all. She realized that she won't be graduating with her classmates in 2006 due to the fact that she screwed around and failed an entire year of high school. She's seeing if her credits will transfer to the Seattle School system so where she will be able to graduate this year. Her dad has made it clear to her that it is going to be stricter rules than it was at her moms and that its not going to be all fun and games. We'll see what happens, she has to call the school on Tuesday/Wednesday to see if they will transfer or not and we'll go from there. Not like its going to matter to me much I'm rarely going to be home with class 3 nights a week from 5:30pm to 10:30 pm. All I'll be doing those nights is coming home, taking a shower and going to bed to be up by 6 am the next morning for work.
I am enjoying my new job, I have a lot more customer contact, but is basically the same as I was doing before just with a lot more work.

grrrrrr
I got my new computer home yesterday to hear something rattling inside... I was like uh oh... it wasnt doing this when i shipped it... upon further inspection the case has been bent inside and out... and all the screws are out, and wires unplugged ......

getting closer
Well there are 6 days until I leave for Boston. I have gotten mostly packed, all except my toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, razor, my bodywash, cell phone charger and then pack my backpack that I am carrying on board with me.
I'm excited about the trip.
I start counseling on the 5th of August to help me deal with what's happened in my past so that I have a bright and brilliant future ahead of me.

Gather stuff to pack for trip
Clean out backpack for carryon
get car in to body shop (hopefully)
Good news! I have an appointment to get my car fixed (finally!)!.... August 1st.... ! Yeaaaa thanks insurance company!
The driver who hit me is going to be paying the shop directly so if his credit card gets declined they can deal with it... but if needed i can get my ins company back involved if needed.

Called my insurance company, filed a claim, and they are now going after the guy who hit me or his significant other since the car was in her name. One way or another my car is getting fixed.
I was being nice before now he can deal with my insurance company. Since the car was in her name her insurance company will have to pay me. then she can deal with her ex over the cost.
Update: Insurance company got the name of the legal owner of the unit, driver who hit me still wants to take care of this on his own. I was told it is up to me at what I want to do. Driver told insurance company he is concerned that he is being asked to pay for damages that he didn't do. I advised the rep that I'm not asking that, all I ask is that the damages he did be fixed and that he pay for them. Rep said can send out an independent appraise to look at it, take pictures, and write estimate so that the driver can be clear that he's only paying for the damages that he did, I told rep that I was ok with the appraiser coming out and looking at the vehicle, but I would like to be present. I also informed rep that I was not comfortable in talking with the driver again after his hostility towards me on Friday she said she would be more than happy to talk with him after she receives the appraisal & when she receives it will give me a call with the info. She did say it is still my decision regardless of what I want to do, whether I want to go thru his insurance company or accept a check from him for the amount. I'm nervous about accepting a check without knowlege that it won't bounce.
Will see when she calls me back, right now I'm waiting for the apprasier to call and make an appointment to look at my car.

Things to do........
finish work at 3, go to old navy buy a couple more t-shirts for the trip, dishes, vacuum, relax, gather stuff to pack, and pack.

In other news:
The jerk who hit me doesn't believe he did more than $200 worth of damage, I can't get my car fixed for $200, all my estimates range from $774- $1100 to fix the damage that he did. Turns out the BMW X3 that he hit me with isn't in his name but his soon to be ex's.... so its not on his insurance..... so I'm getting my insurance company involved to go after either him or the legal owner of the vehicle in order to get my car fixed. The paint is already cracking, so if its not fixed soon its going to start rusting and end up costing more to get fixed. Told Daryl if the guy calls him to settle don't talk to him. Insurance company hopefully will get this settled relatively quick, other wise I'm taking him to court. Daryl and I were going to go ahead and get the small claims paperwork on Monday but had dinner with mom and stepdad, stepdad said dont do that to contact my insurance company and let them know whats going on have them go after the guy and the legal owner of the car, then it should get taken care of really quick but in the meantime don't get it fixed. In other news: someone broke into Lyndsay's car and stole her stereo that dad had given her (wasn't installed yet)..... so now shes down in the dumps. Maybe I'll call her and take her to dinner for her birthday....we'll see.

sigh.....
Well there are 24 days until I leave for Boston... yeah!!!
But here's what's happened yesterday.
My schedule changed once again when they announced that they weren't going to stay open extended hours for E-Contracts any longer with nothing coming in. Which I understand. They also announced that they were no longer going to pay for our parking passees after July. This sucks for me as it now effects how I get to school. Its fine for the summer, but once school starts in September I'll have to take the bus in and home on days I don't have class, and the days I do have class, pay to park in the building out of my own pocket.
But I will be going back to 8-5pm giving me more free time in the evening at least for now.

Sigh.....
Its basically going to be $900-$1000 to fix my car where I got hit yesterday. Despite the damage being small thats an awful amount of money! But I want it fixed, lucky me I don't gotta pay to get it fixed the guy does, he admitted it was his fault and that he will pay to get my car fixed. Geesh he was driving a BMW X3 he probably can afford it easily!
Either way I'll be without my pride and joy for 3 days while it gets fixed.

grrr this stinks!
I try and try to keep my car looking brand new (except for the dent in the drivers door that was there when i bought it)... and this goes and happens. ..someone hit me ! i was waiting for the driver in front of me to finish pulling into the parking gargage so i could pull in.... but he stops in the front and decides to backup! right into me..... so now i gotta get my car fixed, he admitted he was at fault, and said he'd pay for the damages.

End of regular classes at South Seattle Community College is this Friday June 10th.
Finals on 13th, 14th. and 16th
My Schedule starting 6/20/05 Monday -Friday 11-8pm
On the 11th I'm on a motorcycle ride with my loving boyfriend Daryl, as well as on the 25th.
Working a lot of overtime for the extra $$ so I can use it for my trip in July.... I can't wait!!!

Hip Hip Horrah!! The countdown has begun!!!

53 days!!! Hip Hip Horrah! I can't wait. I'm getting more and more excited. The tickets for Six Flags are bought and paid for and should arrive by the end of the week.
Tan and Peng have gotten their own apartment and are in the process of packing and moving, I'm soooo excited for them.
I start ITT Tech on September 5th and will be graduating next June with my associates degree in Computer Networking Systems.
Is it July yet??????

Yeahhhh!!
I can't believe its APRIL already! Means in 3 more months I will be in Boston!!! Yea...... oooo I can't wait!! I can't wait im squirming in my chair already!!!
But this also means I'm soooo much closer to graduating!! I'm taking 3 classes this quarter which means all I have left is:

I really....really hate my job
Although I hate to say it.... I really really really hate my job... granted I understand the need for procedures and the reason why we follow them...but why say one thing is acceptable and then 4 pages down in the freaking manual say its not acceptable.... your contradicting yourself.... trying to make me have an error which i dont want.... so what do i have to do notate the heck out of everything..wasting my time... the time it takes me to notate everything I could have gotten 1 or 2 more car deals keyed in and ready to go.... sigh it doesnt make sense

Victory is mine!
I've managed to take care of P today through her Dental needs. Aside from that I managed to game a little bit and improve my rank in the DoW Ladder, I'm now No. 2 in the US of A. Off to the races... or trying to count something to knock out.
